So we are talking today with the co-founder of Nomad the Label, an Australian women's clothing brand, with what I think is an interesting customer profile. And I'll let him explain it and walk us through that. And also a listener of the show. So always fun to be able to bring things full circle and interview someone who learned a lot of what they're going to teach us from other guests on the show. Really, that's...

Warms my heart. But we're joined today, Donal Breslin from Nomad the Label. Donal, say your name correctly, cause I'm butchering it. Cause you have blended two accents to like really mess with me.

Kurt (00:54.68)

Don't know.

I'm getting better. Yeah, Donal. All right, I got it. Donal Breslin, Nomad the Label. I'm Kurt Elster. Check nasty. This is the unofficial Shopify podcast. Let's get into it. Okay, I wanna know, let's just start with simple. Nomad the Label sells clothing online. A lot of people do. What's different? What do you sell?

Kurt (02:13.942)

Why linen? I love linen. I always, for years, have kept a linen shirt in my closet. Just because, you know what? I don't wanna be fashion sweaty. I'm a sweaty, sweaty man. I don't wanna be fashion sweaty. Linen is great. It breathes a little delicate, and I'm a messy baby, so I go through, I like record destroy white linen shirts about every other year and just replace them. But.

So I love linen, but why did you end up going with this material as kind of like a key piece of this brand?

Kurt (03:29.378)

And, well, let's go through the backstory. What, was this your first e-commerce brand, e-commerce experience? What have you been doing this whole time?

Kurt (08:15.826)

Oh no, you cut out right then. Oh, there we go. Oh, you cut out again. I'm going to turn your video off.
